Delaware County IDA Seeks Part-time Ag Expert
The Delaware County Industrial Development Agency (IDA) is seeking an independent, experienced, professional contractor to help agricultural producers and businesses navigate their industry by connecting them to support programs and funding sources and by assisting them in identifying issues and developing strategies to address issues specific to their business.
The contractor will be required to work cooperatively with the Delaware County Department of Economic Development in the developing and implementing projects and initiatives to support the growth and sustainability of the agricultural industry.
The part-time, contractual period is expected to run from April 2020 through the end of the year. Contract terms will be negotiated based upon qualifications.
Interested parties should submit a letter of qualification including: relevant experience, knowledge and expertise of the agriculture industry; knowledge and experience in working with public and private agricultural related agencies and resources; a statement of proposed compensation rate and weekly availability, and resume to the Delaware County Industrial Development Agency, by Tuesday, March 31.
